What’s going on in our world – design, B2B marketing, inspiration and a lot of Swedishness.

SF Artists Open Studio

On October 17, ArtSpan’s citywide, month-long Open Studio event kicks off. SF Open Studios is the oldest and largest open studio program in the country and this year is its 40th anniversary. 800+ local artists open their studios to the public to display and sell art in myriad forms. It’s a fun way to explore art in your community, sip a glass of wine and be inspired.

I suggest you check out the artists at the Hunters Point Shipyard: That’s where I have my own studio. On October 17-18 you’ll find me in Building 101, Studio 1423.

Visiting the otherwise closed off “Shipyard” is also a rare opportunity to see the old Naval site that is emerging into a new SF neighborhood on land that was previously one of the nation’s most polluted sites. Artist studios are part of the plan and the 35-year old Shipyard artist community will remain!

See you there!
