“We are a mixed team of Swedes and Americans here at Skona, and since 2003 we’ve held on to the Swedish heritage, both in terms of design and culture. This year’s Christmas campaign is a fun example of that.”

This year we shared some Swedish Christmas food favorites with the toughest critics out there—children. The results? Well, Mikey no likey the herring.

So what’s the deal with the herring?

Swedes as they are (at least significant portions of the agency) decided in true Swedish Christmas spirit to do a tribute to our Swedish favorites at Christmas – with an American twist, of course.

The setup

The tough critics panel, consisting of six brave children ages 4-8, were invited to our Fika bar, where they were served a buffet of Swedish delicacies.
