The Skona team has been cranking the first quarter of 2018 with some great site launches and much more in the works. Here’s a peek behind the curtain of our creative world – some fantastic sites we’ve come across for inspiration from both a creative and digital execution point of view.

First up, a very unconventional approach for a wine brand. http://www.contiducco.it. We’re loving the interactions and transitions, with an interesting mix of scroll effects. It’s also a nice blend of modern & classical design and inspiration.

Next, an unreal music demo site (be careful with your computer volume!) https://www.onuka.ua. We’ve been finding more and more sites employing audio with navigation as part of the site’s UX. Love love love it and we can tell audio will be coming to the future of brand experience.

The “History of Messaging” is a great little B2B microsite https://www.intercom.com/evolution. A rich timeline experience guides you through the journey of modern messaging with a nice transition to a final invitation to Intercom’s April 24th announcement.

http://www.insidethehead.co/ is a whole other take on storytelling. Fantastic narrative paired with cool illustrations, subtle animation and a pretty fantastic mobile experience. Poignant, beautiful and simple.

http://www.loveforiceland.com/ is another example of unconventional navigation, paired with sophisticated and subtle scroll interactions. We love the pairing of type and imagery here as well.

And of course, our friends over at InVision recently launched the Design Genome Project: http://www.invisionapp.com/enterprise/design-genome. A rocking brand with forward-thinking design aesthetics. What’s not to love? As always, a beautiful, ‘gridtastic’, tasteful design with engaging content.
