Sköna Forward

We believe that giving back to the community makes a stronger one.

That’s why we give away 20% of our time to worthwhile causes. Below you can see a couple of examples of pro bono clients we are helping. Please, support their important work

LAVA MAE

Over the years we have seen the homeless problem grow in San Francisco and it grieves us deeply. We had actively been looking for an organization focusing on the issue when Lava Mae asked us to build a website for them. Lava Mae does not only offer showers and sanitation in mobile showers (converted from Muni buses), they also provide dignity for people who are moving through homelessness. Read more about the project here.

SF-MARIN FOOD BANK

Another of our neighbors are the SF-Marin Food Bank. We have been working together for a couple of years now, helped them revamp their brand, built a new website for them, campaign sites, and now, a transit campaign that can be seen all over the Bay Area. Read more here.

SAN FRANCISCO CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION CENTER

When the organization asked us to create their Annual Report we said yes. We created an interactive experience that showcased the scope and the impact of the important work the organization does amongst the most vulnerable in our community.

TASTE OF POTRERO

One evening the best restaurant in the city comes together to raise funds to support Daniel Webster Elementary, a struggling San Francisco public school located in Potrero Hill, close to our office.

The fundraiser, Taste of Potrero, is not your average bake sale, but a stellar evening of tastes and libations from San Francisco's best restaurants. Last year the event showcased 25 restaurants including State Bird Provisions, NOPA, Piccino, Starbelly, and Third Rail - just to name a few.

We have been part of this fundraiser since it started; we take care of all the design, the website, and play a role in the communication strategy around the event, seeing to that the event sells hundreds of tickets each year, funding amazing programs for the children of Daniel Webster.
